Nova is a place to put photos, video and music — a feed, galleries, playlists, and a profile you can actually make your own. It's built on a simple premise: the things you make here belong to you, and so does the data about you.
What we commit to
We don't sell your data
Nova doesn't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. There are no advertising networks embedded in these pages and no third-party trackers following you between them. What you upload is stored to show to the people you choose to show it to — that's the whole purpose it's put to.
Delete means deleted
When you delete your account, your profile, posts, comments and every file you uploaded are removed — from the database and from the storage behind it. Not hidden, not deactivated, not held in a recycling bin waiting for you to change your mind. If you want a copy first, take one before you press the button, because afterwards we genuinely can't give it back.
You can read everything we hold
One click in your settings downloads a complete export — profile, posts, comments, uploads, likes, follows — as a plain JSON file you can open, inspect and keep. No request form, no waiting period, no email exchange. If we hold it, you can read it.
Your profile is yours to shape
Backgrounds, ambient effects, colours in your bio, your own links, where in the world you are. Small things, but they're the difference between a profile and a form you filled in.
On the planned Nova token
A cryptocurrency token is planned for Nova. The intention is that all profit the project receives from its trading fees will be donated to charity.
Being straight with you about where that stands: it has not launched, no date is set, and nothing about it is finalised. Nothing on this page is an offer to sell anything, a solicitation to buy anything, or financial advice of any kind. When there is something concrete — a launch, named charities, published figures — it will be announced here with the details filled in. Until then, please treat this as a statement of intent and nothing more.
Using Nova will never require buying, holding, or knowing anything about a token. The site works the same either way.
Being straight about the rest
Nova is young and built by a small team. Some of what the site will eventually do isn't built yet, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise. We keep what we need to run the service — your email address so you can sign in and recover your account, and what you choose to upload. Server logs record ordinary technical information for a short time so faults can be diagnosed.
If something here is unclear or you think we've got it wrong, say so. A promise about your data is only worth anything if someone checks it.
